Even though released with two big films, Sidhu from Sikakulam seems to be a better fare compared to the other two. End of the day, it is the entertainment that counts and though Sidhu from Sikakulam is nothing new with the concept, it provides some entertainment for the whole run time without boring moments.

Sidhu (Naresh) is a student at Andhra University. He falls in loe with Divya (Manjari). But Divya's marriage is settled with someone else. Divya proposes to elope. But Sidhu, who is more practical, says he cannot risk his life for love. Divya then lays down a condition. She would be glad to marry the other guy, if Sidhu can attend her marriage and be part of the arrangements and can see her go home with some other guy. It has to be seen on screen if changed his mind and if she married Divya.

Naresh is one of the busiest heroes these days. But one thing to be appreciated is that he is making sure that the quality is not going down because of the number of the films. His comedy timing, diction help him a lot. In this film, he also impresses with his dances. This film also showcases performance side of Allari Naresh. New girl Manjari is beautiful and also performed well. It wont be an exaggeration to say that she has all the potential to be a good heroine. Shardha Das is limited to skin show and less of performance.

Dharmavarapu, Kondavala, Venu Madhav, Kayyum were able to deliver good laughs. MS Narayana is hillarious. chandramohan is impressive in his role.

even though the story is old, director Eswar narrated the film in an entertaining way. there is no feel of bore at any point. And the pattern seemed a bit close to that of EVV. Dialogs are also very impressive. There are a few double entenderes here and there but they are not unbearable.

Cinematography by Dasaradhi Sivendra is good. Editing by Kotagiri is COntent. Music is a big highlight for the film. KM Radhakrishna gave good music. Radhakrishna's blend of melody and fast beat in Kanakangi Ratanangi song is too good. His re-recording is also very well done.

Though debut film, director Eswar did not show any signs of it. But a touch of EVV is seen in his style; be it songs or comedy or scenes. Overall, Sidhu from Sikakulam is a time pass film.

Once again naresh acted in a good screenplay movie .....this is his hatrick hit after seema sastri and gamyam....narration is also very nice and some comedy sequences are outstanding...this movie is better than the two movies which had been released on 14....hope this movie will do better....
