Bunny is Allu Arjun's film after Arya. Naturally the expectations are high on that film. VV Vinayak is the director.

Somaraju (Prakashraj) is a leading business man in Vizag. Mysamma (Mukesh Rishi) is a close member of Somaraju, who handles the deals of Somaraju
in Hyderabad. Mahalaxmi (Gauri Munjal) is the daugther of Somaraju. Somaraju dearly loves his daugther.
Bunny (Allu Arjun) joins the same college as Mahalaxmi.
He impresses Mahalaxmi on the first day itself. Slowly, she falls in love with him. Somaraju, though reluctant initially, agrees to the marriage.
Now Bunny has a condition that Somaraju should give his entire property to Bunny as dowry. To know the plot, you have to watch the film.

Bunny is out and out Allu Arjun's film. The film is tailor made for him and the makers tried to project him to the fullest extent.
Allu Arjun did a commendable job in that role. He satisfied the levels at which he was being projected. Especially in dances and fights, he
is excellent. Though he improved a lot with voice modulation, there is scope for improvement. The entire first half is dedicated to Allu Arjun.
He did that part with an ease. He mastered in the teasing scenes. He is such a right fit in those scenes.

Gauri Munjal, who is Miss Delhi 2003, fitted in her role. Her dances are OK. But she doesnot have much scope to perform. Prakashraj did his role well, as usual.
Sarat Kumar did a guest role, a powerful one, in the film and he is impressive in that role. Sarat Saxena as Rangaswami, Sita as the wife of Prakash Raj,
Sudha as the wife of Sarat Sexena, did their roles well.

Raghubabu and MS Narayana needs a special mention in the cast. They crack the audience into laughter. MS Narayana did his job as principal to bring out comedy in first half.
Raghubabu filled in the comedy role in the second half. Raghubabu did an excellent job as a blind guy. Infact, it is no exaggeration to say that
his role stands as one of the plus points for the film.

The writers seemed to have picked the tested story base. These kind of stories are already there. The only difference here is that instead of
Rayalaseema backdrop, it has Polavaram backdrop. Though story is not that novel, narration compensates for it. Narration is very tightly
packed without any breaks. First half is filled with entertainment and it passes on. One of the main things that worked out in the film is the
characterization of Allu Arjun. It fits so apt for his body language. Also, the way he tricks Prakashraj are depicted very nicely. However,
the director fails to project or satisfy the objective of the film, which the concept is based on - Polavaram project. Though
Saratkumar's role is made so powerful for that very reason, it is diluted and handled in a simple way when it comes to Bunny.

Though the objective in the film is not met properly, VV Vinayak is definitely successful in elevating Allu Arjun. He impresses with his style of
elevating heroes. He did that before and he did it again.

Chota K. Naidu handled the camera. He is one of those cinematographer, who can be identified by the viewer without seeing the titles. He is
so good his is work. Few fights composed by Kanal Kannan are pretty good. Produciton values are pretty good. The songs are pictured very rich.
Editing by Gautam Raj is ok.

Devisri composed music for this film and it is not that great. Bunny Bunny song will remind of Killi Killi song
from Gudumba Shankar. Beats are used extensively at places that lyrics are dominated by the beats. However, the visuals of all the songs, especially
the sets, are very good. Thanks to the art director Ashok Kumar. Rajendrakumar did a good job with dialogues. Some love dialogues by Bunny and
comedy punchliners by MS are penned very well.

First half goes at a fast pace with COllege scenes, couple of fights and songs. The fights in the college, and comedy scenes involving MS Narayana and Raghubabu are pretty
impressive. As soon as the flashback starts, the run goes into a serious mode. Though a song is added for Sarat Kumar in the flashback, it is not that
effective. The pace slowed down a bit. As the film paces towards the climax, tempo gains again. Fight between Allu Arjun and Mukesh Rishi is done well.
Overall, This is definitely a VV Vinayak brand film. He is successful in elevating the hero.
