Rajasekhar and Jeevita Rajasekhar are gearing up for their next production venture titled Satyameva Jayate. This film will be produced on Siva Sivani productions banner in the direction of Jeevita Rajasekhar. Hero Rajasekhar will provide the screenplay for this film. After a good gap, Rajasekhar will be seen be the role that he became the definition for in the past - a police officer.

This film will be loosely based on Rajkumar Santoshi directed Khakee which had Amitabh, Aishwarya Rai, Ajay Devagan and Akshay Kumar in the lead. Khakee is a good hit. In Telugu, casting is pretty much decided. Rajasekhar will play the role done by Amitabh, Sanjana (Bujjigadu fame) will play the role of Jayaprada, Clinto will play Aishwarya Rai while Milind Soman will play Ajay Devagan. Ajay Devagan's role, though negative, is the most powerful role on par with the hero role in the film. Jagapati Babu was initially approached for this role. Due to dates problem of Jagapati babu, the role landed with Milind Soman.

Dasari Narayana Rao will present this film. In fact, sources say that there is some financial funding coming from that way also. As per sources, there are good number of changes done from the original film to fit the Telugu nativity. Role played by Tushar Kapoor will be replaced with a character to be done by Neetu Chandra. Hero Sivaji and Allari Naresh seem to be the lead contenders for Akshay Kumar's role.

Music will be done by Chinna, who earlier composed music for Yevaraithe Nakenti. The film is expected to start on 21st or 23rd of this month
