Vijayvardhan is making debut as hero with the film Sinugadu Chiranjeevi fan. His father Akula Sriramulu is producing the film in the direction of Radhakrishna. I got a chance to catch up with Vijayvardhan. The following are the excerpts.





Tell us a bit about your background

Originally I am from Tanuku (West Godavari Dist). I am doing by 3rd year MBBS in Bangalore. We completed this film during the holidays. I love movies right from my childhood. I am a big fan of Chiranjeevi and used to see his films repeatedly. After watching the films, I try imitating him at home. Family and friends always appreciated me. Especially my father. He noticed my interest and decided to launch me as a hero.



Usually, new actors pick a love story or action backdrop films for their launch. You are making debut with this film Sinugadu.. Chiranjeevi fan.. What is the nature of the film?

Hero character in this film is a Chiranjeevi fan. The main context is a love story. Fans and related activities are just an under current in the film.




So are you a "wanted to be a doctor but became an actor"?

No. As I said, the film is completed during the holidays. I will complete my education without any interruption.




Will you act further in films?

It depends.



Tell us about your family and the kind of support you got from your family.

Every one supported me in this venture. My father played a major role. He encouraged me in every step. My father runs a string of
educational institutes in East Godavari Dist. He is planning an institute in Hyderabad also. He is the key support for me and only because of him, I am able to enter the industry.



I would like to also thank my director. The movie came out excellent and it is because of the director. He explained everything so patiently and got the best out of me.




What do you think of the audio of the film?

People say that 50% of the film's success depends on the audio. So in a way, we already got 50% success. Audio got good response. We should thank the music director Siva Kakani for giving such catchy tunes.




All the numbers seem to be fast beat! Is it intentional? Did you get any training in dances?

I did not get any training. In fact, I was very tensed when we were shooting for the first song. But by the time we were done with the first song, I got the touch for it. Since the numbers are fast, dance movements are also developed similarly. Choreographer really worked out good steps and made me do it nicely. For few steps, I even twisted my ankle. Nothing serious though.




Did you go through any training for acting?

Yes, I did. I got trained under the guidance of Sri Satyanand.




What is your confidence in this film?

This is an inspiring and purposeful concept. It is close to real life and is very natural. The concept will reach every one. Music already got good response. Comedy by Venu Madhav, MS Narayana, LB Sriram will definitely click. And also it has some ingredients that will touch mega fans.




What are your future plans?

I promised my parents that I will complete my MBBS. So after this film, MBBS will be my priority. I got a chance to meet
Chiranjeevi garu once. When I told him about my education background, he recommended that I don't neglect the education. So my first preference is education. Meanwhile, if I get any chance in movies, I will consider it carefully.
