Nagarjuna is undoubtedly one of the heroes who is always for encouraging new talent, trying unconventional subjects and venturing into new businesses. He accomplished the feat of entertaining audiences in both commercial and spiritual films. He is presently working on Srinu Vaitla's King, which is scheduled to release on 18th of December. He is all glowing and he has all the reasons for it. His son Naga Chaitanya will debut this year.

Same old answer.. just being cool and keep smiling. And I guess the glamor factor is by inheritance from my dad. I do not take any special care. Only thing I make sure is to try to keep myself away from tensions.

Any speciality for this birthday
Yes. It is in fact a special birthday. I am very happy that Naga Chaitanya is making debut as hero.

Any special reason why Chaitanya is not making debut on home production banner
Dhil Raju is an expert in presenting youthful movies. And he also has proven track record of introducing talented youngsters and projecting them the right way. So we thought it might be a better idea to launch Naga Chaitanya in Dhil Raju's presentation.

Any precautions that you are thinking about Chaitanya's career?
I want him to be picky and choosy about the stories. To be honest, I want him to do all kinds of roles not just confining himself to any particular image. That way he can mature into a more versatile actor.

Tell us about King
King would feel like Hello Brother + Dhee. King will have so much of entertainment. I do three different shades in the film. As a collection agent for credit card company, second one is king and the last one is Bottu Srinu. Dont ask me what the characters are about. You have to watch them on the screen to feel the thrill.

What is the reason behind naming the film King?
Websites like yours posted the title as King even before we thought of the name. The title became popular. We also liked the title. Also, the title is very close to one of the characters. So we decided to go with that.

There is a lot of buzz that you are doing Vemana
At present my concentration is all on King. And I have no interest in doing Vemana at this point. May be in future. I am not sure.

You have done different genre of films. Can we expect Cowboy style films? What kind of roles do you like most?
Cowboy (laughs). I like entertainment most of the time. Also, I enjoy James Bond kind of action films. King has both ingredients but it is not a James Bond film.

Tell us about the music for this film
This is the third film that Devi is working for me. Earlier he composed music for Manmadhudu and then Mass. Both are super hits. Also, he delivered superhit with Srinu Vaitla for Ready. And his recent Jalsa is a big hit too. So I am confident that he will deliver the hatrick with me.

In so many years of your career, did you ever feel frustrated about this profession?
Hmmmm.. I occasionally feel the lack of privacy. But it gets washed away when I realize the affection my fans shower on me. I feel frustrated on sets when things are not planned. For example when scenes are filmed without proper planning. That happens due to lack of understanding between the producer, director and the actors. When it happens, I feel frustrated and also sorry. But that is all part and parcel of this profession.

You enjoyed the top position in the industry. And now your son is also making debut. Any further plans
I want to do a lot to the industry. Several things are in planning including a film institute. I will let you know at an appropriate time.

Chiranjeevi is into politics now. Do you have any plans
I am far away from politics and same is the case with my family. I don't have that knowledge and understanding. I congratulate Chiranjeevi on his political entry. I wish that he succeeds in that stage too.

When will King hit the theaters
Things are going at a good pace. If every thing goes as per the plan, we plan to release it on 18th of December. It is a good time because it falls right before Christmas and Sankranti. That is a good time to enjoy entertainment.
